【摘要】:Thistestmethodwasdevelopedtoevaluatethewearperformanceofengineoilsinturbochargedandintercooledfour-cycledieselenginesequippedwithEGR.Obtainresultsfromusedoilanalysisandcomponentmeasurementsbeforeandafterthetest.Thetestmethodmaybeusedforengineoilspecificationacceptancewhenalldetailsoftheprocedurearefollowed.1.1ThistestmethodiscommonlyreferredtoastheMackT-10.Thistestmethodcoversanenginetestprocedureforevaluatingdieselengineoilsforperformancecharacteristics,includingleadcorrosionandwearofpistonringsandcylinderliners.1.2Thistestmethodalsoprovidestheprocedureforrunninganabbreviatedlengthtest,whichiscommonlyreferredtoastheT-10A.TheproceduresfortheT-10andT-10AareidenticalwiththeexceptionoftheitemsspecificallylistedinAnnexA8.Additionally,theproceduremodificationslistedinAnnexA8refertothecorrespondingsectionoftheT-10procedure.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeAnnexA7forspecificSafetyHazards.
