【摘要】:Corrosionproducts,intheformofparticulateanddissolvedmetals,inthesteamandwatercircuitsofelectricitygeneratingplantsareofgreatconcerntopowerplantoperators.Asidefromindicatingtheextentofcorrosionoccurringintheplant,thepresenceofcorrosionproductshasdeleteriouseffectsonplantintegrityandefficiency.Depositedcorrosionproductsprovidesitesatwhichchemicals,whichareinnocuousatlowlevels,mayconcentratetocorrosivelevelsandinitiateunder-depositcorrosion.Also,corrosionproductsinfeedwaterenterthesteamgeneratingcomponentswheredepositiononheattransfersurfacesreducestheoverallefficiencyoftheplant.Mostplantsperformsometypeofcorrosionproductmonitoring.Themostcommonmethodistosampleforlongtimeperiods,uptoseveraldays,afterwhichlaboratoryanalysisofthecollectedsamplegivestheaveragecorrosionproductleveloverthecollectiontimeperiod.Thismethodologyisreferredtoasintegratedsampling.Withthemorefrequentmeasurementsintheon-linemonitor,atimeprofileofcorrosionproducttransportisobtained.Transienthighcorrosionproductlevelscanbedetectedandmeasured,whichcannotbeaccomplishedwithintegratedsamplingtechniques.Withthisnewlyavailabledata,plantoperatorsmaybegintocorrelateperiodsofhighcorrosionproductlevelswithcontrollableplantoperatingevents.Inthisway,operatorsmaymakemoreinformedoperationaldecisionswithrespecttocorrosionproductgenerationandtransport.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheoperation,calibration,anddatainterpretationforanon-linecorrosionproduct(metals)monitoringsystem.Themonitoringsystemisbasedonx-rayfluorescence(XRF)analysisofmetalscontainedonmembranefilters(forsuspendedsolids)orresinmembranes(forionicsolids).SincetheXRFdetectorissensitivetoarangeofemissionenergy,thistestmethodisapplicabletosimultaneousmonitoringoftheconcentrationlevelsofseveralmetalsincludingtitanium,vanadium,chromium,manganese,iron,cobalt,nickel,copper,zinc,mercury,lead,andothersinaflowingsample.Adetectionlimitbelow1ppbcanbeachievedformostmetals.1.2Thistestmethodincludesadescriptionoftheequipmentcomprisingtheon-linemetalsmonitoringsystem,aswellas,operationalproceduresandsystemspecifications.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
