【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesthedeterminationofthesizeofgammaradiographicsourcesof0,5mmorgreater,madefromtheradionuclidesIridium192,Ytterbium169,Selenium75,orCobalt60,byamethodofradiographywithX-rays.Thesourcesizeofagammaradiographysourceisanimportantfactorwhichaffectstheimagequalityofgammarayimages.Thesourcesizeisdeterminedwithanaccuracyof±10%or0,1mmmax.Thisstandardcanbeusedforotherradionuclidesaftervalidation.Warning.ExposureofanypartofthehumanbodytoX-raysorgamma-rayscanbehighlyinjurioustohealth.WhereverX-rayequipmentorradioactivesourcesareinuse,itisessentialtoapplytheappropriatelegalrequirements.
