【摘要】:Theabilityofaplasticmaterialtoresistdeteriorationofitselectrical,mechanical,andopticalpropertiescausedbyexposuretolight,heat,andwatercanbeverysignificantformanyapplications.Thispracticeisintendedtoinducepropertychangesassociatedwithend-useconditions,includingtheeffectsofdaylight,moisture,andheat.Theexposureusedinthispracticeisnotintendedtosimulatethedeteriorationcausedbylocalizedweatherphenomena,suchas,atmosphericpollution,biologicalattack,andsaltwaterexposure.Cautionx2014;Variationsinresultsmaybeexpectedwhenoperatingconditionsarevariedwithintheacceptedlimitsofthispractice.Therefore,allreferencestotheuseofthispracticemustbeaccompaniedbyareportpreparedinaccordancewithSection9thatdescribesthespecificoperatingconditionsused.RefertoPracticeG151fordetailedinformationonthecaveatsapplicabletouseofresultsobtainedinaccordancewiththispractice.Note38212;Additionalinformationonsourcesofvariabilityandonstrategiesforaddressingvariabilityinthedesign,execution,anddataanalysisoflaboratory-acceleratedexposuretestsisfoundinGuideG141.Reproducibilityoftestresultsbetweenlaboratorieshasbeenshowntobegoodwhenthestabilityofmaterialsisevaluatedintermsofperformancerankingcomparedtoothermaterialsortoacontrol.,Therefore,exposureofasimilarmaterialofknownperformance(acontrol)atthesametimeasthetestmaterialsisstronglyrecommended.Itisrecommendedthatatleastthreereplicatesofeachmaterialbeexposedtoallowforstatisticalevaluationofresults.TestresultswilldependuponthecarethatistakentooperatetheequipmentinaccordancewithPracticeG155.Significantfactorsincluderegulationoflinevoltage,freedomfromsaltsorotherdepositsfromwater,temperatureandhumiditycontrol,andconditionandageoftheburnerandfilters.1.1Thispracticecoversspecificproceduresandtestconditionsthatareapplicableforxenon-arcexposureofplasticsconductedinaccordancewithPracticesG151andG155.Thispracticealsocoversthepreparationoftestspecimens,thetestconditionsbestsuitedforplastics,andtheevaluationoftestresults.Note18212;Previousversionsofthispracticereferencedxenon-arcdevicesdescribedinPracticeG26,whichdescribedveryspecificequipmentdesigns.PracticeG26isbeingreplacedbyPracticeG151,whichdescribesperformancecriteriaforallexposuredevicesthatuselaboratorylightsourcesandbyPracticeG155,whichgivesrequirementsforexposingnonmetallicmaterialsinxenon-arcdevices.PracticeG26willbeballotedforwithdrawalbeforeDecember2000.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note28212;ThispracticeistechnicallyequivalenttoISO4892-2.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO4263specifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftheageingbehaviourofsynthetichydraulicfluidsofcategoriesHFDR,HFDU,HEESandHEPGasdefinede.g.inISO12922[4]andISO15380[5].Theageingisacceleratedbythepresenceofoxygenandmetalcatalystsatelevatedtemperature,andthedegradationofthefluidisfollowedbychangesinacidnumber.OtherpartsofISO4263specifysimilarproceduresforthedeterminationofageingbehaviourofmineraloilsandspecifiedcategoriesoffire-resistantfluidsusedinhydraulicandotherapplications.NOTEOthersignsoffluiddeterioration,suchastheformationofinsolublesludge,catalystcoilcorrosionordecreaseinviscosity,canoccur,whichindicateoxidationofthefluid,butarenotreflectedinthecalculatedoxidationlifetime.Thecorrelationoftheseoccurrenceswithfieldserviceisunderinvestigation.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtocomparetheoxidationstabilityoffluidsthatarenotpronetocontaminationwithwater.However,becauseofthelargenumberofindividualfield-serviceapplications,thecorrelationbetweentheresultsofthistestandactualserviceperformancecanvarymarkedly,andisbestjudgedonexperience.Theprecisionofthistestmethodforsynthetichydraulicfluidsisnotknownbecauseinterlaboratorydataarenotavailable.Thismethodmightnotbesuitableforuseinspecificationsorintheeventofdisputedresultsaslongasthesedataarenotavailable.However,precisionforinhibitedturbineoilsisgiveninClause11forguidanceasanindicationoftheprecisionthatcouldbeobtainedforsynthetichydraulicfluids.
